The project was part of the theme Embroidery in space and inspired by the double helix. The different shapes represent the uniqueness of an individual who, despite his genetics, is not the sum of his parents. The photo of three generations represents the genetic material passed down through the generations; from grandmother to mother and daughter.

The products were created as a project assignment in the course Textile Design 1 under the mentorship of prof. Marija Jenko and assist. Jana Mršnik at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering, University of Ljubljana.
